Q 1.:Why should I send my child to Camp?
A .: In these days of internet and 24 hour satellite TV, children have lost touch with the outdoors. You should send your child to a camp because
a. He / She will learn to become independent
b. He / She will learn to make new friends and appreciate the value of teamwork.
c. He / She will understand the value of discipline.
d. He / She will learn to enjoy the outdoors.
e. He / She will learn to handle adversity.
f. Parents will get some free time to temselves.
 
Q 2.:How does Nature Trails conduct its camps ?
A .: Nature Trails follows a time tasted methodology in conducting all the camps. STEP 1-All the campers are divided into groups by age. STEP 2-All the activities are conducted group-wise. STEP 3-A healthy competitive sprit is encouraged among the groups STEP 4-Each child gets a chance to become the group leader on a rotational basis. STEP 5-Each group is mentored and monitored by one experienced instructor. His/ Her role is to guide and motivate the group. This also ensures the complete participation of each and every child from the group in every activity. STEP 6-The instructors will also observes special traits and talents among the children. STEP 7-The instructors will thus ensure that each and every child is able to overcome his / her shyness.
 
Q 3.:Which Children are eligible for the camps?
A .: These camps are open to all the children as per the age group specified in the program selected.
 
Q 4.:What type of food and accommodation will be provided at the camp?
A .: Food: delicious, hot, nutritious, unlimited vegetarian meals will be served buffet style on all days of the camp in the common dining hall of the campsite. The menus are specially planned keeping in mind the likes and dislikes of the children. Mineral Drinking water is provided at all times .
NOTE : Please do not send any foodstuff or any other eatables with your child to the camp.

Q 5.:What about transport? Where are the pick-up and drop points?
A .: The cost of the camps includes transport to and fro cost from fixed pick-up and drop points in mumbai. The pick-up and drop points will be mostly along the Eastern & Western Express Highways. The camp co-ordinator will individually contact each & every participant by phone to inform him of the nearest pick-up point 2/3 days before the camp starting date.

Campers Coming from outside Mumbai will have to come to a convenient pick-up point in Mumbai or will have to come directly to the campsite.

NOTE: If you have chosen the destination Tapola, Mahabaleshwar and you stay in Pune, you will be able to get the benefit of our pick up and drop facility at Chandani Chowk on the Mumbai Pune Expressway. Please confirm with our office 3 days before the camp.

B.: " The campers traveling to Tapola and back will be traveling in the night. This is done to ensure that 2 whole days are not wasted in traveling.The children will return very early in the morning on the return trip".
 
Q 6.:What is the booking procedure ?
A .: You will have to submit duly filled out form along with a cheque / pay order / DD payable at mumbai, to be drawn in the name of `Nature Trails Resorts Private Limited'.

Cash is also accepted at our office at the address given-

NOTE: If required our person can come to your place of work or residence to collect your form kindly contact our office OR, you can book online at www.naturetrails.in

REFUND: A refund is available only on medical grounds after deducting Rs. 500/-

Note: Nature Trails reserves to shift/cancel a camp if no. of participants for any particular camp is less than 10.
 
Q 7.:What does my child have to carry along with him / her ?
A .:
1) Personal kit comprising of tooth brush, tooth paste and toilet accessories.
2)One bed sheet.
3)Two pair of night dress, one pair of sleepers, water bottle, two towels.
4) Swimming costume. if swimming is a part of itinerary.
5) Track suit ( not compulsory )
6) Rubber soled shoes.
7) Cap
8) Note book, pens, crayons / sketch pens,
9) Torch
NOTE: Please do not send any valuables with your child to the camp. He / she will not need them. Send
money only for the occasional cold drink.
 
Q 8.:Can I Contact my child during the camp ?
A .: Yes it is possible to contact your child during the camp. However kindly restrict your calls between 8.30 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. Avoid frequent calls as it could make your child homesick.

Q 9.:What about transport ? Wher are the pick-up and drop points ?
A .: Safety has always been our prime concern in the planning of this camp. Although all the adventure activities involve a degree of physical activity, the level of difficulty is adjusted based upon age and capacity of child. First Aid is available on the campus and a doctor is available on a call. All the instructors in the camp are experienced professional in the respective fields.

NOTE:
1) Please mention in your booking form if your child has any disabilities or requires any special medication. Children with known history of epieleps / skin disease will not able to attend the camp.

2) Adventure activities like mountaineering & kayaking do carry a degree of risk, despite all possible precautions.

However all the campers are insured for a maximum liability of Rs. 100000/- for the particular camp period. ( If booked at least 7 days before ).
